Our last meeting, Annual Seminar & Auction was held on May 3. At the Valley Springs Pow Wow. We wish to thank the Snyder family for allowing us the use of the barn for our meeting. We also
appreciated all of the help provided by the Pow Wow personnel to the Co-op Educational Tent helpers.
The Co-op Educational Tent was set up by the Calaveras Gem and Mineral Society with the help of the Amador County Gem and Mineral Society members. Special thanks to these club members.
The Calaveras, Sutter Buttes, Paradise, Fossils for Fun, El Dorado, Roseville and Stockton clubs put in case displays and Betty Snyder put in the case of John's lapidary material collected on the ranch. Thanks to Betty and the members of these clubs as well as the many members who helped
host the tent.
Neither rain, nor sleet nor muddy ground could keep the visitors and members away! Our next quarterly meeting will be held on Saturday, August 15. The El Dorado County Mineral and Gem Society will host the meeting. The meeting will
be held at Denny's Restaurant, Cameron Park, beginning at 11:30 AM. Details will follow soon.
